However, uvScreenCamera is not only about recording. The program also includes a basic editor that allows you to add a wide range of elements to your recording, such as static images, notes, arrows, shading effects, and more. Bear in mind though that this editor is not like any other video editor you may have worked with: there's no time line as is, and the preview image can't be resized – which makes editing a bit difficult.
Despite these minor flaws, uvScreenCamera is still a great tool to record on-screen tutorials. Plus the result can be exported to various formats: AVI, SWF, FLV, animated GIF or even a handy standalone EXE.
